- Repair on the same visit where parts allow
Sora Roam handles drips, blocked drains, hot water faults and new fittings. You get a clear diagnosis and a fixed price before a single tool comes out.
Open the row that matches what you are seeing. Each one explains the usual cause, what you can safely do right now, and what happens when we arrive.
Perished washers on older taps, or a scored ceramic cartridge on quarter-turn and mixer taps.
Put the plug in so small parts cannot fall away, and note the tap brand if it is printed on the body.
Isolate the tap, replace the seal or cartridge with a matching part and re-seat it so the handle turns smoothly.
A clogged aerator or shower head, a part-closed isolation valve, or scale build-up in older pipework.
Check whether it affects one tap or every outlet, hot or cold. That single detail narrows the cause quickly.
Test pressure at the main and at the outlet, clear or replace restrictors and open or renew sticking valves.
Hair and soap in the trap, grease further along the waste pipe, or a vent that is not letting air in.
Stop using that outlet and skip chemical drain cleaners. They can damage seals and make a trap unsafe to open.
Remove and clean the trap, rod the waste run, then flush and check every joint for a watertight seal.
A failed element or thermostat, a tripped safety cut-out, or sediment sitting in the bottom of the tank.
Check the heater has power and the setting has not been turned down. Do not open the relief valve yourself.
Test the heating circuit and controls, replace faulty parts and flush the tank if sediment is the cause.
A fill valve set too high, or a worn flush valve seal letting water trickle into the pan.
Turn the small isolation valve on the supply pipe a quarter-turn to reduce flow between flushes.
Adjust or replace the fill valve and flush seal, then set the water level so the cistern stops cleanly.
A weeping joint, a failed seal around a bath or shower, or a pipe that has cracked inside the wall.
If it is growing or dripping, turn off the main stop tap and keep electrics near the area switched off.
Trace the source with the least disruption possible, repair it and pressure-test before anything is closed up.
Telling us the type up front means the right parts are already in the van.
For active leaks, spreading damp or a home without water. We make the situation safe first, then repair.
For drips, slow drains, weak showers and running toilets. You pick a morning or afternoon that suits you.
For new taps, toilets, basins, water heaters and appliance connections. We survey first, then schedule the fit.
Every visit follows the same order, so you always know what comes next and when you will be asked to decide.
You hear from us as we leave for your home, so the arrival window never becomes an afternoon of waiting.
Dust sheets and shoe covers go down before any cabinet is emptied or panel removed.
We show you what we found and quote for the whole job. Nothing starts until you agree.
Matching parts, tidy joints and pipework clipped back where it belongs rather than left hanging.
We run the water, check every joint for weeping, clear up and tell you what to watch for.
A fair price is one you agree to before the work begins.
The visit starts with diagnosis. Once we know the cause, you get one fixed price covering labour and parts for that repair, not an hourly meter running in the background.
If we uncover something else along the way, we stop, show you, and quote it separately. You can decline it and we will still finish the job you agreed to.
A few minutes of preparation makes the visit quicker and keeps disruption down.
Send a short description and we will reply with available arrival windows and any questions we need answered before the visit.
